  • A place where you can easily track your progress and receive small rewards for enrolling and achieving milestones.

We rebranded to Scene to reflect our promise to meet you at the scene of your health.

When is emocha rebranding to Scene?

Our company name has already changed to Scene Health. The emocha app will change to Spotlight by Scene Health on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

Will there be any changes to how I use the app?


No, nothing will change! You will still use the mobile app to submit daily check-ins and chat with your care team. You’ll still use the app to stay on track with your medication regimen.

Is the app still secure?

Absolutely. The app is secure and HIPAA-compliant. We keep your health information safe.

How will I continue to receive support from my care team?

Of course! We are the cast and crew behind your health. We’re here to support you through video chat and phone. Our care team can answer any questions, provide guidance, and help you manage any side effects or symptoms.

What should I do if I encounter any issues?

If you have any questions or issues, we are here to help you. You can visit our customer support page at www.scene.health/contact. You can also email helpdesk@scene.health. Our old emocha support page and email will continue to work.

Is there anything I need to do?

Always download the latest version of the mobile app. This way, you’ll have the best possible experience.

Do I have to update to the newest version of the app?

Updating your app isn’t mandatory, but having the newest version of the app will give you a better experience.

Our story

Our story began in 2014 when a team of scientists at Johns Hopkins created emocha. Since then, we have helped thousands of people take their medications correctly, one dose at a time.
 
We believe that true care goes beyond the walls of a clinic or hospital. That's why we meet you at the scene of your health. We meet you in the comfort of your own home, at the bus stop, or anywhere in between. We're right there with you wherever you are, ready to provide the support you need.
 
And at the heart of our work is our fantastic care team. They connect with you in a warm and caring way. They make sure that you feel heard and valued at every step.
 
But, as we grew and reached more people, we saw that our app needed to be warmer. We also saw that our name needed to be clearer. That's why we decided to change.

Our new name and look

We changed our company name to Scene Health, and our app is now called Spotlight.

Our new names show our commitment to meeting you at the scene of your health.

We wanted to make sure two things were clear:

- We care for you — all of you.
- Every video check-in is a window into your world, where you are seen and heard.

We’ve also updated our app’s look with colorful drawings and vibrant colors to give you a joyful and uplifting experience.

These changes are helping us better show who we are.
